Today...
Has been a busy and tiring day. I'm hoping that tomorrow I can do a post that's a little more personal tomorrow...would you guys like to see what I'm wearing? We'll see how it goes, and I may start doing a weekly "What I'm Wearing" post. Until then, here's one of my favorite wedding photos - my MIL, me, and my SIL. Aren't they gorgeous?

Sparkly and Shiny at Anthropologie
Yesterday, I told you guys that I love window shopping at J. Crew, Gap, and Anthropologie. While Anthropologie has tons of beautiful clothes, I sometimes forget how luxurious and pretty the jewelry is. Let's take a look at a few of my favorite peices. This delicate necklace would be great with a plain tee and black cigarette jeans.

Inner Circle Necklace
This handmade one is a little bit bolder, and I would wear it with a LBD or a simple tank and skirt.

Moche Necklace
This dainty heart necklace would make a great birthday gift for a friend. Bonus: it's handmade in the US!

Sentimental Necklace
These cute horseshoe studs would be great as an everyday piece. They would transition well from day to evening, and look light enough to wear for long periods of time.

Auspicious Posts
This dainty bracelet accentuates a slender wrist. It would look lovely all by itself or paired with a stack of gold bangles.

Cleft Cuff
You can't get cooler than this literal starfish bracelet. It's daringly chic.

The perfect combination of pretty and preppy, I'd wear this bracelet with simple diamond studs, a dainty gold pendant, and a simple casual dress.

Tie-Around Bracelet
This ring is such a rich shade of green! It was my grandmother's favorite color, and I think I'd wear it with no other jewelry at all. It really stands up on his own.

Pretty Things at J. Crew
No matter what the season, I always love basically anything and everything J. Crew. The classic lines, rich colors, and luxurious fabrics make the brand my absolute favorite, and while I usually buy on sale or thrifted J. Crew, I love to browse the website and catalogue for fun. This season, I have picked out quite a few items that are to die for. I'd wear this gorgeous yellow tank with shorts and sandals or with dark jeans, a blazer, and ballet flats in the fall.
These sleek slacks are neutral enough to wear with any color while being interesting enough to pair with a plain white shirt.
This skirt is a true classic. The color pops against fair skin or a tan, and I think it would look gorgeous with a pastel colored oxford or a belted cream sweater.
I'd wear this dress to work, out to dinner, or to a family function. It's muted but perfectly tailored, and you could dress it up with some metallic heels or bright pumps.
I love a great menswear inspired blazer. Wear it with skinnies, ballet flats, and a thin tee shirt for a comfortable and put-together look.
This sweater looks incredibly cozy, and it would go with just about anything!
Nude heels help elongate legs, and these do the trick perfectly. Interesting details on this shoe win my favor!
You just can't get cooler than these shades. I'd wear them every single day, rain or shine.
Do you have any favorite stores for window shopping? I'd say mine are J. Crew, Anthropologie, and Gap.

Coffee Chocolate Cupcakes with Chocolate Buttercream Icing
I made another batch of Ming's
cupcakes (cake recipe #24, my own frosting recipe), and they turned out delicious.
For the buttercream, I used 1 stick of butter, 2 cups of powdered sugar, a dash of vanilla, 1/4 cup milk, and a handful of melted chocolate chips. I dusted the top with some cocoa powder. Lesson learned during this recipe: let your cupcakes cool completely before you frost them. Oops!

Guinness Cupcakes with Cream Cheese Frosting
I found this adorable website through A Cup of Jo, and it's basically a diary of interesting and delicious cupcakes and cookies. I used recipe number 16, and the results were delicious!
